Para octubre de 2024 se pronostican aumentos de lluvias entre el 20% y el 40% respecto a la climatología en la mayor parte de las regiones cafeteras, mientras que para el mes de noviembre se esperan lluvias dentro del rango histórico. Las condiciones del océano Pacífico Ecuatorial son consistentes con un evento Neutro. Durante el trimestre septiembre - noviembre 2024, podría desarrollarse el evento La Niña con probabilidad del 71%, y persistir hasta el trimestre enero - marzo de 2025.
