This article presents the assessment of the impact of the project “Water at the heart of coffee grower communi- ties” on coffee farms’ environmental care in the department of Tolima, Colombia. With a difference-in-differences method, the study shows that the project achieved positive impacts on water saving, access to water and reduc- tion of water pollution, along with the project beneficiaries’ good appropriation and perception thanks to their increased productivity and appreciation of their farms.
