Cenicafé Technical Bulletin is a serialized publication that compiles the knowledge and technologies generated in research in a practical and didactic manner on a specific topic of Colombian coffee growing. This open access publication is delivered to the municipal and departmental committees of coffee growers and extension services.
Wastewater from the washing of equipment, clothing and cleaning of personnel that has been in contact with agrochemicals requires an independent treatment system, since its disposal in domestic wastewater or coffee wastewater treatment plants can be toxic for the organisms responsible for the decontamination process, when biological systems are used, such as septic systems (for domestic wastewater) and biodigesters and Modular Anaerobic Treatment Systems - SMTA (for coffee wastewater).
