This edition presents five research articles focused on key issues in the coffee sector. The first article deals with vegetative growth and fruit load of Coffea arabica progenies. The second focuses on the chemical composition and safety of dry-processed coffee. It also includes investigating moisture content in dry parchment coffee and green almonds using NIRS technology (infrared spectroscopy). A study on soil acidity in the coffee-growing zone is also presented—finally, a rapid method for DNA extraction from Colletotrichum spp. These works constitute significant contributions to the sustainable development of coffee growing.
