Resumo

A aplicação controlada de CO2 e fertilizantes através de partículas de liberação lenta tem sido uma estratégia de fertilização inovadora e promissora para as culturas, pois permite a liberação controlada de CO2 na mesofila das folhas via estômatos ou epiderme. Foi avaliado o efeito da aplicação de um produto enriquecido com CO2 em três concentrações diferenciais baseadas na dose ótima (TTO1-50%, TTO2-100% e TTO3-200%) sobre o conteúdo de biomassa seca, troca de gás, eficiência real do sistema fotográfico II e nutrição mineral em plantas de café. As plantas foram pulverizadas com uma freqüência de 15 dias desde o surgimento do primeiro par de folhas verdadeiras (30 DDS- BBHC12) até seis meses (180 DDS-BBCH19) em viveiro padrão. A biomassa total foi quantificada para 15 plantas para cada tratamento e o controle a 180 DDS. Não houve evidência estatística de diferenças significativas no conteúdo total de biomassa (gl=3, 56; F= 0,669; p=0,575, ?=0,05). A: p=9,01 x 10-16, transpiração - E: p=8,63 x 10-4 e PSII: p=1,93 x 10-19). Os conteúdos foliares de macro e micronutrientes do café foram afetados após a aplicação de CO2 carbonatados. A aplicação do produto carbonatado não aumentou o conteúdo
